A Thirty Year Survivors Story

COPD can strike almost anytime, although most it begins around the 60's.   Patients might well have had years before that but their
signs might have been misdiagnosed.  COPD signs mimic so many minor diseases(occasional shortness of breath, intermittent
coughs, tiredness) that it is only when all meet together in a major way that they might understood as COPD.  My original Doctor was
stuck on "Oh dear,  Mr. Webster, you have  another one of those nasty winter coughs I see."  That was only when I went to a
specialist I discovered  what it was.

That is partially the reason for the book.  I hope that a lot of people who hear about it may well ask for a fuller examination during their
annual check up.  It takes a few minutes longer but may well extend your life.
My Book "It Takes Your Breath Away"  Is really important at any Stage of COPD since it covers most of the information you need to
    survive.
The book version is $18.00 plus $3.00 shipping and the CD version is $10.00 plus $3.00 shipping

Thirty years ago I received the news about the state of my health.
Asthma, Chronic Bronchitis and incipient Emphysema.  I received
some prescriptions and a warning to "try to exercise a little".  No
mention of COPD, but I don't think the term was in use back then.

What I did  then was done solo - no Internet and hardly any books.
But I survived and with hard work got myself going.

The whole story is related in my book "It Takes Your Breath Away",
which I wrote so that new COPD Patients would have some idea of
what can occur and what steps to take to handle their lives.

It is all in plain English  and, if nothing else, it's a darn good read.
Sometimes humorous, but mostly serious it shows how a miidle aged,
overweight, out-of-condition male (or female) with COPD can evolve
into a a survivor.  Its no miracle story but a down to earth tale that
shows that COPD is not the end of your life but the start of a new one.

The people who really need this book are those who are alone and
have no access to the Internet - the biggest collection of knowledge in
the world.  If you have any ideas as to how to reach them I would be
    very interested.

I am very lucky to have so many people who allowed me to tell
their stories too.  They alone can show you how much COPD Patients
    can achieve.
