If you should announce to your Doctor or Nurse that you have or are going to
take in a pet his or her immediate response is "dont".
Now I know that there is a great danger in allergies from pets.  Dog dander (the
skin cells they shed), cat hair and dozens of other little problems  But Doctors
and Nurses have this knee jerk reaction to animals when it isn't necessary.  Not
everyone is allergic to animals and there should be a distinction made.
